Kain Lawyers is pleased to have advised Clipboard in relation to its acquisition by Compass Education Group.
Clipboard, Australia’s leading extracurricular management system, was founded to support schools in managing extracurricular programs. It has since become a trusted partner to hundreds of school communities across Australia, helping reduce administrative workload and improve oversight beyond the classroom.
The transaction supports Clipboard’s next phase of growth, providing a platform to progress its product roadmap while maintaining its core focus. Clipboard’s extracurricular tools will be integrated into the Compass ecosystem, enabling two-way data sharing across student information, attendance, activities, incidents, timetables, communications and reporting.
The Kain Lawyers team advising Clipboard was led by David Mitchell with assistance from Travis Cordingley and Emily Stollznow.
