Susannah is a Special Counsel at Kain Lawyers, in the firm’s property, projects and infrastructure team. She is an experienced real estate and infrastructure lawyer with over 15 years’ experience across major commercial property transactions in Australia and the UK.
Susannah specialises in complex property development, urban renewal, infrastructure delivery and large-scale acquisitions & disposals, acting for institutional investors, developers, government agencies and major corporates. She has advised a diverse range of clients on negotiations, high-value projects and resolving real property, titling, and commercial risks.
Susannah brings deep expertise in the commercial & public sectors and a proven track record delivering major transactions for her clients.
Susannah’s experience includes:
- Negotiating project delivery arrangements for the $2bn Central Place urban renewal project;
- Advising the NSW Government on its $5.1bn long-term leases of Port Botany and Port Kembla;
- Advising Mirvac Office Trust on its $1.1bn acquisition and asset restructuring;
- Advising Suburban Land Agency (ACT) on its $78m Kingston Arts Precinct urban renewal project;
- Advising Quadrant Private Equity on its $600m sale of tourism operator Journey Beyond;
- Advising Global Forest Partners on a range of significant Australian forestry acquisitions, including the $80m purchase of Willmott Forests and the $105m purchase of Elders Pulpwood Assets;
- Advising Placemaking NSW, Sydney Olympic Park Authority, Property and Development NSW and other NSW government agencies on management of their commercial property portfolios.
