Jeremy is a leading banking and finance lawyer with over 20 years’ experience advising Australian and international financiers and borrowers on corporate, leveraged/acquisition, real estate and project finance transactions, as well as restructuring and derivatives.
Jeremy specialises in domestic and cross-border transactions with a particular focus on leveraged buyouts, syndicated lending, mezzanine finance, and complex secured lending (eg unitranche, TLB and holdco PIK financings).
Recognised as a “Leading Lawyer” by Legal 500 Asia-Pacific from 2024 to the present, Jeremy is widely respected across the market for his responsiveness, efficiency and “hands-on” approach. His focus is always to deliver trusted client service.
Before joining Kain Lawyers, Jeremy gained extensive experience in Sydney and London at Clayton Utz, Herbert Smith Freehills, Baker McKenzie and Mallesons. He also brings valuable in-house perspective from his time at JPMorgan in London.
